This small complex in the heart of the Hamlet of Gardiner is designed to retain the character of the 19th century rural hamlet. Located in the heart of the hamlet, the Gardiner Professional Center expands the hamlet’s architectural heritage and unique Main Street atmosphere.
The center will consist of an existing mixed-use center-hall colonial and a new two-story building. The new structure will feature ground floor storefronts with prominent street presence on both Main Street and Fourth Street, and professional offices above. A 17-car parking lot is placed behind the two buildings, avoiding disruption of Gardiner’s historic streetscape on the front and side. The new building includes many of the green building techniques featured in BA’s sustainable building designs.
